How to Sign Up to Get your FREE Remote Desktop Software

In order to benefit from the free KineticCloud Remote Desktop offering as well as the free Kinetic Extend iPhone/iPad app you need to have the KineticCloud for Desk&Laptops backup client installed on the PCs, MACs or Laptops you intend to access remotely. If you intend to exclusively use our software for the remote desktop feature only (not pay for online backup storage), simply follow these steps:

  • Sign up for a free trial account.
  • Install the KineticCloud for Desk&Laptops backup client on your PC or MAC.
  • Go into the "Options" (for Windows) or "Preferences" (for Mac) menu and deselect all files and folders. This way nothing will get backed up and you will NOT get charged.
  • You now have a secure and free remote desktop solution!
