8 Other things to consider before deciding:

1. Not all servers are created equal. Most 'unlimited' providers back up to low quality, slower servers. We use high quality, fast Dell RAID 6 servers that allows for faster back up from your computers.
2. We take a backup of the backup on a second RAID 6 server. This allows KineticD to boast that we have never lost a file. Not every backup provider can make this claim. Make sure yours can.
3. We never automatically delete your data. If you delete a file from your PC, some unlimited providers will automatically delete it from your backup after 30 days. We don't (Although we provide tools like the Cleanup Wizard to allow users to manage their data).
4. Do you want to access your files anywhere? Unlike others, we allow you to restore your data to any computer regardless of whether or not it has our software on it. And when you want to remotely access your PC, you don't need to install different software. We make it easy to backup, restore and remote access all from the same icon.
5. Only we have a patented Continuous Backup system, Which means you are not at risk of being caught losing a file between backup periods with us.
6. Do you want to slow down or limit your backup? When you reach a certain backup size (50 or 100 GB) some unlimited providers throttle (slow down) the backup process or limit your daily backup to 500 MB per day.
7. Most unlimited providers only allow backup of local hard disks; KineticD supports backing up mapped drives, removable media and external hard drives.
